We are currently looking to recruit a kitchen assistant on a part time basis during school hours.

We are looking for individuals who are flexible to perform tasks in the kitchen, working in a team environment, your job is to ensure that the kitchen is clean and operational.
You will also be involved in preparing ingredients, cooking

Key responsibilities:
-Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking
-Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
-Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
-Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
-Disposing of rubbish
-Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas

What skills do I need?
-Understanding the importance of health and hygiene
-A great team player
-The ability to listen and learn

Qualifications needed:
-A current DBS check is essential for this position
-Ideally at least a level 1 food and hygiene qualification.
