Reporting to Internal Sales Manager

Working hours: Monday to Friday, working between 8.30am to 5pm with a one hour lunch.

Providing an exceptional customer service, by building, maintaining relationships and taking responsibility for a customer portfolio.
Responsible for maintaining current business levels, whilst identifying opportunity’s to develop business from our product portfolio by proactively up-selling and cross-selling.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

•Contribute towards company targets by way of meeting and/or exceeding set targets as an individual and contributing to the teams
•Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success by developing positive relationships with customers. Act as the point of contact and support customers’ needs.
•Identify opportunity with customers, match appropriate products to support their requirements.
•Follow up samples and quotations, converting these to sales.
•Ensure your accounts are constantly aware of active promotions available, follow up and generate new business through own initiative, social media and marketing activity.
•Resolve conflicts, take ownership and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
•Manage your Area Sales Managers diary; ensuring customers are visited on a regular basis.
•Use internal tools and systems, to manage the day to day running of your data, ensure systems are maintained and updated at all times.
•Liaising with other departments including Transport, Accounts, Marketing, Laboratory and Production.
•Create KPI and tracker reports as required by business.
•Undertakes duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls.
•Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for personal growth in order to promote products with greater understanding and confidence
